Joshua Tiles is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focusedSales Consultant – Tiles, Flooring & Bathroomto join our team on afull-time basisat our Keysborough VIC showroom.
In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing expert product knowledge and exceptional service to customers seeking premium tiles, flooring solutions and bathroom products.
This position is pivotal to driving sales, building customer relationships and establishing Joshua Tiles as the preferred choice for quality home improvement products in the local market.
Key responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assess their needs to recommend appropriate tiles, flooring and bathroom products
Provide expert product knowledge and guidance on design trends, quality, durability and suitability for various applications
Assist customers with product selection, colour matching and design consultation to help them make informed purchasing decisions
Process sales transactions accurately, including quotations, orders and payment collection
Maintain detailed customer records and follow up on leads to nurture relationships and encourage repeat business
Ensure the showroom is well‐organised, visually appealing and fully stocked with accurate pricing and product information
Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets through effective selling techniques and customer engagement
Answer customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
Stay updated on new products, promotions and market trends to effectively communicate offerings to customers
Work collaboratively with team members and management to provide seamless customer experiences
What we're looking for
Proven experience in sales, ideally within retail, home improvement, tiles, flooring or bathroom products industry




Strong product knowledge or demonstrated ability to quickly learn technical specifications and applications of tiles, flooring and bathroom solutions
Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping customers find the right products for their projects
Confident communication and interpersonal abilities with customers from diverse backgrounds
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and closing deals
Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, customer relationship management tools and Microsoft Office applications
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer enquiries and transactions simultaneously
A professional appearance and the ability to present products in an engaging and persuasive manner
Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to work within a collaborative team environment
Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transport (desirable)
Understanding of design principles or interior aesthetics is an advantage
The ability to communicate in an additional language (such as Mandarin, Cantonese or other community languages) is highly regarded, as many of our customers come from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Working Hours
Monday – Friday
8:30am – 5:00pm
Saturday
9:00am – 4:00pm
Full-time position.
A weekday rostered day off may be available for the right candidate.

Prefer working in a luxury retail or designer showroom.
Are uncomfortable working in a warehouse showroom environment.
Prefer repetitive tasks rather than a varied and hands‐on sales role.
