Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) is seeking a Deputy Clinical Director (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), a senior role combining clinical practice with leadership responsibilities. Working closely with the Clinical Director, you will support clinical leadership, workforce management, governance, education and service development.
The role includes 0.3 FTE dedicated Clinical Support Time (CST) for leadership and administrative duties, alongside Staff Specialist clinical work. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality, patient-centred care while building your leadership experience.
You will have:
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), or eligibility to obtain Fellowship.
Experience in supervision, mentoring, teaching and professional development of Junior Medical Staff.
Demonstrated consultant-level clinical capability in obstetrics and gynaecology with a public hospital setting.
Previous experience in a Deputy Clinical Director, Clinical Director, training supervisor or comparable senior leadership role. (desirable)
This position is remunerated at a HM39 to a HM41 under the Medical Specialists (Victorian Public Health Sector) (AMA Victoria/ASMOF) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement.
