Senior Project Officer Business Planning
Package up to $161,698 pa.
Package includes salary range ($129,464 pa to $142,665 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

In this role you will apply your experience in business continuity, resilience, project delivery and organisational change to strengthen Fire and Rescue NSW's preparedness and support the continuity of critical services to the community of NSW.
About the role:
In this role you will support the uplift of Fire and Rescue NSW's business continuity and organisational resilience capability, including continuing to align practices with recognised standards such as ISO *****.
You will coordinate and support enterprise-wide business continuity activities, including business impact analysis, continuity planning, assurance, review and continuous improvement initiatives, and help embed continuity thinking into operational and corporate planning processes.
The role also contributes to FRNSW's annual business and resource planning and reporting cycle and manages corporate projects and initiatives that improve organisational resilience, governance and performance.
About you:
Demonstrated experience in business continuity management, resilience and project delivery including development and implementation of business continuity frameworks, plans and supporting artefacts aligned to recognised standards (e.g. ISO *****)
Sound understanding of business continuity principles and frameworks, including experience supporting or implementing practices aligned with recognised standards such as ISO *****
Strong project management and change management capability,
particularly in delivering enterprise-wide organisational resilience capability uplift initiatives
Experience undertaking or supporting business impact analysis (BIA), risk assessment and resilience planning in complex organisations
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse business units and translate requirements into practical, outcome-focused solutions
Proven ability to influence, educate and build capability among managers and staff to embed and adopt business continuity and resilience practices
Confidence using digital tools and systems to support knowledge management, reporting, collaboration and enterprise capability uplift
Tertiary qualifications in business, risk, emergency management, public administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
ISO ***** Lead Implementer/Auditor, Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (CBCI) or similar.
Experience with ISO ***** aligned business continuity management systems (BCMS), exercising, audit or assurance processes will be highly regarded.
