The Role
The role of the Boat Mechanic is to inspect, repair and monitor marine engines, electronics and internal boat systems. You will have a strong understanding of servicing outboard and sterndrive engines, boat accessory fitting, marine electronics, as well as problem diagnostics and offering solutions.
Requirements and Skills
Knowledge and experience in the Marine Industry as a Mechanic or Boat Fitter
Experience in servicing and/or fitting engines
Understanding of vessel accessory fitting and auto / marine -electrical
Excellent time management skills and punctual
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Robust ability to diagnose problems and offer solutions




Well organised and able to handle multiple tasks
Ability to work unsupervised while also being able to effectively take direction
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Up to date knowledge with Mercury and Kawasaki Master Tech Training (Training Supplied)
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Service marine engines and boat systems
Fit-out outboard engines, marine electronics, and boat accessories
Problem solving and water testing vessels
Work alongside other team members and other departments
