Employment Terms
This is a 12-month Parental Leave backfill contract position.
60 hours per fortnight - exact hours/days negotiable.
6-month probationary period applies.
All employment is subject to ongoing funding.

Specialist Homelessness Services and Betty's Place Women's Refuge
Yes Unlimited is the lead agent for all Specialist Homelessness Services in the Southern Murrumbidgee area and in partnership with Kirrinari Community Housing, Vinnie's Services and VERTO Tenants Advice, provide a range of services that support people who are experiencing homelessness or are considered to be at risk of homelessness.
Betty's Place, and now also our brand-new Core and Cluster Refuge known as Betty's Place East, provides accommodation and outreach support for women and their children who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or escaping family and domestic violence.
The Case Manager - Adults and Families
The Case Manager works across the Yes Unlimited Adults and Families Team providing a range of therapeutic and case management services for adults and families who may be homeless or at risk of homelessness and/or experiencing domestic and family violence aimed at supporting them to reach their identified goals.
What you'll be doing:
Support Refuge Operations:Support the operation and safe delivery of services across our two dedicated women's domestic and family violence refuges Betty's Place Central and Betty's Place East.Comprehensive Intake & Assessment:Perform thorough initial screenings and assessments to identify needs, connecting clients to immediate internal supports or external pathways.Collaborative Support Planning:Draw on clients' unique strengths, aspirations, and needs to collaboratively develop, implement, and review personalized case plans with clear, achievable goals.Manage Safety & Risk:Provide proactive safety planning, dynamic risk management,
and multi-agency coordination responsive to the specific complexities of domestic and family violence.Deliver Tailored Practical & Emotional Support:Offer holistic assistance—including practical help, informal counseling, advocacy, skill building, family support, and guidance to secure and maintain affordable housing and build a life free from violence.Shape Our Practice:Actively engage in the development and operationalizing of Yes Unlimited's Model of Practice which includes Strength Based Practice, Trauma Informed Approach and the Five Foundations for Ending HomelessnessKey Selection Criteria:
Qualifications & Experience
Have, or be working towards the completion of, a formal qualification in Social Work, Social Welfare, or related discipline and / or prior experience in working within the community sectors
Experience in the provision of case-management services for vulnerable adults and families particularly issues of homelessness or domestic and family violence will be a significant advantage.

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team toward established goals
Sound administration skills including confidence in the use of information and communications technology
Other requirements
Have and maintain a current driver's licence, sound driving record and industry relevant Police and NSW Working with Children clearance;
Have and maintain a current First Aid Certificate.
