About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead the administration team and take full ownership of the financial and accounts function, including:
Month-end and year-end processing
Reconciliation of all control accounts (bank, stock, debtors and creditors)
Accurate and timely data entry to produce Trial Balance
Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
BAS returns and FBT
Cash flow and budget forecasting and management
Preparation of monthly financial statements
Ensuring taxation, audit and legislative compliance
Asset management
Management reporting
You're a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively and taking ownership.
You bring:
Proven experience across the full accounts function through to Trial Balance and BAS
Strong business acumen, commercial awareness and reporting skills
A highly analytical mindset with excellent organisation and attention to detail
The ability to learn quickly and continuously enhance your skillset
Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
A robust work ethic and the ability to work independently while being a supportive team member
CA/CPA qualification (highly regarded)
Bachelor's degree in accounting (essential)
