About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a permanent full-time leadership role driving international education governance and compliance across a large, complex organisation.
As the Lead International Governance and Compliance, you will provide centralised oversight of Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) regulatory obligations, ensuring effective registration management, PRISMS reporting integrity, and effective enrolment controls.
You will play a critical role in shaping and enhancing governance, monitoring and assurance frameworks that strengthen compliance and mitigate regulatory risk across international operations.
Working with a wide range of stakeholders, you will bring a strong quality and continuous improvement lens to operations, influencing best practice and ensuring consistent application of ESOS requirements.




This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of ESOS-related regulatory submissions, coordinating accurate and timely lodgement while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and regulatory expectations.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring extensive experience leading ESOS compliance within a regulated environment, paired with a deep working knowledge of the legislative framework and its associated reporting and governance requirements.
You are confident navigating complex compliance environments and have proven experience satisfying regulatory obligations across relevant regulatory agencies such as ASQA and TEQSA.
You will have hands-on experience using PRISMS systems, compiling ESOS-related regulatory submissions, and a strong understanding of enrolment controls and reporting processes.
With a sharp quality and compliance mindset, you are proactive in identifying risks, improving processes, and driving consistent, high-quality outcomes.
A collaborative and influential leader, you are comfortable providing expert advice to stakeholders, embedding best practice, and championing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
