Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experiencedBusiness Analystto join our Melbourne-based team on acontract basis.
About the Role
We are seeking aBusiness Analystto support theTelephony Collectionsproject atone of our large reputable clients.This is anadvisory-focused role, where you'll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to shape and guide the solution, rather than perform hands‐on technical implementation.
You'll play an important role in supporting the project team by taking ownership of key business analysis activities, helping to reduce the workload of the Team Lead and enabling them to focus on other strategic initiatives.
This opportunity is ideal for a proactive Business Analyst who enjoys collaborating across business and technology teams, facilitating discussions, and driving outcomes in a complex financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to define business needs and project outcomes.
Translate technical concepts into clear business outcomes and requirements for a range of stakeholders.
Produce high-quality business analysis artefacts including business requirements, user stories,



process maps and functional specifications.
Provide business analysis support across security, data mapping and integration-related initiatives.
Work closely with solution architects, delivery teams and project stakeholders to ensure requirements align with the overall solution.
Identify project risks, dependencies and opportunities for process improvement.
Support the successful delivery of the Telephony Collections project from discovery through to implementation.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as aBusiness AnalystwithinFinancial Services.
Previous Collections experience is essential.
Experience working onTelephony Collections, collections platforms or contact Centre transformation projects is highly regarded.
Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities with minimal direction.
Strong conceptual understanding of:Security
Data mapping
Integration-related work
Ability to understand technical concepts and effectively communicate them to business stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
No hands‐on technical execution is required.
The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring everyone is aligned on the desired outcomes.
