D365 Operations & Supply Chain Specialist
Own the future of D365 in a growing Australian manufacturing business.
Armstrong Flooring is looking for a hands-on D365 Operations & Supply Chain Lead to become the internal owner of our Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations platform.
This is not a traditional consulting or project role.
We are looking for someone who enjoys configuring systems, solving operational problems, working directly with warehouse and manufacturing teams, and continuously improving a live ERP environment.
You'll become the trusted expert for our D365 platform, taking ownership of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Inventory, Product Catalogue and Pricing while helping shape the future of our Microsoft technology landscape.
If you're someone who prefers building capability inside a business rather than moving from project to project, we'd love to hear from you.
About Us
Armstrong Flooring is one of Australia's oldest and leading distributors of hard flooring products for both commercial and residential markets.
Operating in Australia since the ****s, Armstrong Flooring is Australia's only manufacturer of commercial vinyl flooring, with manufacturing operations based in Braeside, Victoria, a national distribution network, and sales operations across Australia and New Zealand.
Following recent acquisition by a well-known Australian family, the business is investing heavily in modernising its technology landscape, operational systems, warehousing capability, reporting, automation, and enterprise platforms to support continued growth across the Australian and New Zealand markets.
The Role
This is a full-time role based at our Braeside manufacturing facility.
As the D365 Operations & Supply Chain Lead, you will become the internal owner of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Warehousing and Distribution.
This is a hands-on operational role, not a project management or business analysis position.
We are looking for someone who enjoys configuring systems,

solving operational challenges and working closely with business users to continuously improve our ERP platform.
You will play a key role in reducing reliance on external consulting partners by building robust internal capability and driving continuous improvement across our D365 workplace.
This role will include:
Hands-on configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Warehouse Management.
Configure and support product masters, released products, pricing structures, trade agreements, workflows, business rules, security roles and operational processes.
Support Product Catalogue governance, master data quality and pricing management.
Work directly with manufacturing, warehouse, customer service and finance teams to understand operational challenges and deliver practical system improvements.
Support warehouse operations including inventory management, barcode processes, replenishment and inventory accuracy.
Troubleshoot functional issues, perform root cause analysis and deliver BAU enhancements.
Participate in testing, releases, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to future platform enhancements including Power Platform, integrations, automation, reporting and AI-enabled capabilities.
Build long-term internal capability and become the trusted D365 expert within the business.
About You
You are a hands-on D365 professional who enjoys owning and improving enterprise systems within a live manufacturing and distribution environment.
You are equally comfortable configuring D365, working with operational users and solving business problems.

You enjoy being close to the business and take pride in delivering practical solutions that improve operational performance.
You will bring:
Demonstrated hands-on configuration experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Supply Chain Management.
Strong functional capability across Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Inventory, Procurement and Manufacturing.
Experience configuring product masters, released products, pricing structures, trade agreements, workflows, business rules and security roles.
Practical experience supporting manufacturing, warehousing, distribution or supply chain operations.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills within live ERP environments.
Experience with data migration, testing, upgrades and operational support.
Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, integrations, Dual Write or Lifecycle Services (LCS) will be highly regarded.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across operational and technical teams.
A proactive, ownership-focused mindset with a passion for improving systems and reducing reliance on external vendors.
Experience with Advanced Warehouse Management, Product Information Management (PIM), barcode solutions, process manufacturing and 3PL integrations will be highly regarded.
Why Join Armstrong Flooring?
Join a growing Australian manufacturing business investing heavily in technology modernisation
Become part of a collaborative and expanding internal IT function
Play a key role in shaping and improving a live D365 enterprise environment
Work closely with operational teams and directly influence business outcomes
Contribute to future platform growth, automation, and enterprise capability uplift
Long-term opportunity to help modernise systems and operational processes across a growing organisation
An attractive remuneration package, commensurate with experience, is on offer.
