Key Responsibilities
Perform chemistry testing and analysis in accordance with established methods and procedures
Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment
Prepare samples, reagents and calibration standards
Process, review and interpret analytical dataEnsure quality control and quality assurance requirements are met
Conduct routine calibration, maintenance and performance checks of laboratory equipment
Maintain compliance with laboratory quality, safety and regulatory requirements
Manage workload effectively to meet testing deadlines and operational requirements




Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
Previous laboratory experience in analytical, environmental, food, pharmaceutical, industrial or related testing environments
Experience with laboratory instrumentation is advantageous (e.g. HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP, UV-Vis, FTIR or similar)
Experience working within a regulated or accredited laboratory environment is highly regarded
Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a laboratory team
