We are currently looking for enthusiastic and detail - focused Safety Coordinator to join our team on permanent part time basis.
You will support the Systems Manager, Construction Manager, Project Managers and on site team by ensuring compliance with our internal systems, policies and procedures, reduce risk and promote a positive safety culture across the business.

Duties
Ensuring all PPE and safety policies are being followed
Promote and support workplace health and safety initiatives
Conduct Safety audits and workplace inspections
Identification of hazards and recommendations on risk controls
Implementation of Site Safety Management plan on site
Attend and contribute to toolbox talks, safety meetings and inductions




Assist with incident investigation and incident reporting
Support implementation of OHS procedures
Assist in maintaining compliance to current safety legislation and standards - ISO***** & OFSC
Provide support to onsite teams with project documentation as needed
About you
Minimum Cert IV in In WHS / OHS
Min 3 years construction industry experience
Robust understanding of safety documentation and compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Valid Driver's Licence and white card
Proven people engagement skills with a high degree of tact, efficiency and professionalism
A proactive and supportive attitude towards safety and teamwork
Team player, self-motivated, reliable and trustworthy
Must be interested in a variety of work & learning new skills & constantly growing
