What you will do
As senior contract administrator, you will manage major contracts that support the department's infrastructure and property services.
You will help improve contract performance, manage risk and provide
clear
advice that supports
consistent
and
compliant
decisions.
You will:
lead
complex
contract administration and keep contract management plans up to date
monitor
key
contract performance, review reports and work with suppliers to improve outcomes
manage
commercial
contract changes, registers and risks while meeting government requirements
prepare
high-quality
reports, briefings and advice for senior leaders
build
strong
working relationships, visit sites across Victoria and support a
positive
and
inclusive
team environment.
About you
Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain, commerce, law or business administration are highly desirable. Experience with government procurement and policies is also highly desirable.
You should also have:
strong
experience managing
complex
government service contracts
sound
commercial skills and the ability to prepare
explicit
reports and contract analysis
proven
negotiation skills that help achieve
positive
outcomes with suppliers and other groups
good
problem-solving skills with the ability to manage risk and improve contract performance.
