Canberra preferred (2 days onsite -hybrid) / Remote (Australia wide - quarterly travel)

Contract until 1 February **** with high possibility of extension.

Flexible but prefers Hybrid in Canberra (2 days onsite)/ Remote (interstate quarterly travel).
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Product Manager to join a large-scale transformation program. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to implement new initiatives, enhance existing platforms, and drive end-to-end product outcomes. You will play a key role in shaping product strategy, managing roadmaps, and ensuring delivery aligns with user needs, business priorities, and technical feasibility.

Key Responsibilities
Lead product strategy and planning aligned to organisational priorities and transformation objectives
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, prioritise, and deliver product initiatives
Maintain and manage product roadmaps and backlogs with clear alignment to value outcomes
Drive discovery, define epics, and support solution design balancing user needs and feasibility
Foster strong stakeholder engagement and influence across cross-functional teams
Support delivery teams and Product Owners to achieve high-quality outcomes
Monitor progress, manage risks, and provide clear reporting on delivery and performance
Skills & Experience
Robust previous experience in product management within complex environments
Demonstrated ability to translate strategic goals into product direction and measurable outcomes
Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
Strong understanding of product lifecycle, roadmap management, and prioritisation
Proven experience in user-centred design, discovery, and evidence-based decision making
Solid technical awareness with the ability to work closely with engineering teams
Experience working within transformation or change programs is highly desirable
