JDN Monocrane is Australia's leading crane and hoist designer and manufacturer.
Located in Melbourne's south east JDN Monocrane is an award winning company committed to excellence and Australian based design, manufacture and installation.
As an integral part of the Engineering team you will report directly to the Engineering Manager.
Your day to day roles will include working with a team of engineers to produce high quality designs and associated documentation as well as doing end of life inspections. You will continuously be interfacing with the production, service and sales departments.
You will always be working across multiple projects so time management is critical.
Product types include high volume standard products through to job specific special projects.
Design fields include:




Machined components
Motors, gearboxes, bearings and the whole range of core mechanical equipment.
On site manufacturing facilities include heavy fabrication, fully equipped machine shop, fitting and electrical.
Additional functions include technical support of our service departments across 3 states and occasional site visits for end of life inspections.
If you have:
Mechanical Engineering Degree - Mandatory
Eligibility to be registered at Engineers Australia - Mandatory
High level practical design skills.
Robust initiative & a willingness to learn.
Positive & proactive work ethic.
High attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
