Position Overview:
Dreamscape Kids Entertainment is currently seeking an energetic, engaging, and creative Casual Children's Entertainer in Melbourne, who can bring the magic of our children's parties to life. Our ideal candidate is outgoing, polished, responsive, and capable of navigating a wide range of activities to entertain children of various age groups.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary source of entertainment at children's parties and events, bringing a fun, engaging presence every time.
Engage with children through various activities including storytelling, singing, dancing, magic tricks, balloon twisting, character playing, and other creative games.
Establish a positive rapport with both children and parents, ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved.
Collaborate with the team to personalise party themes, according to the needs and likes of the children.
Work closely with clients to understand their expectations and deliver a performance that meets or exceeds them.
Adhere to all company policies and guidelines, and maintain a professional,



polished demeanor in all interactions.
Attend company training and meetings as required.
Ensure the safety of all children at all times.
Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude, exhibiting high energy throughout all interactions and performances.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Degree in Education, Theatre Arts, or a related field is a bonus.
Prior experience in children's entertainment or similar roles is highly preferred.
A current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.
Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage children and adults alike.
Ability to perform physically intensive tasks, and to work flexibly on weekends and holidays.
Outstanding customer service skills, with a proven ability to exceed customer expectations.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Must possess a vehicle for transportation to various locations around Melbourne.
