CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced Estimator for our client, a well-established civil construction contractor based in Brisbane's Bayside, delivering a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects.
This role will suit a hands-on Estimator with solid experience in tender preparation, cost planning, and commercial estimating, ideally within a civil construction environment.
The successful candidate will have the ability to interpret project documentation, assess costs, and support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and competitive tender submissions for civil construction projects
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and tender documentation
Complete detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis across labour, materials, plant, and subcontractor packages
Assess construction methodologies, project risks, and commercial considerations
Source, review, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations
Manage multiple tenders simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
Provide cost planning support and commercial insights to project delivery teams
Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
Maintain accurate estimating records and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes
Our Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as an Estimator, Senior Estimator, or Quantity Surveyor within the civil construction industry
Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, costs, and project delivery processes




Experience across earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities, subdivisions, or infrastructure projects
Ability to confidently interpret technical drawings, plans, specifications, and scopes of work
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
A proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
