About the role
Experience in flooring sales is required for this role.
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused experiencedSales Consultantto join our team.
This is a full time position that plays a crucial role in driving sales and building lasting customer relationships.
As a Sales Consultant, you will be the face of our organization, engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending tailored flooring solutions that exceed their expectations.
Your expertise and enthusiasm will directly contribute to the success of our business and the satisfaction of our clientele.
Key responsibilities
Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
Strive to achieve weekly targets




Demonstrate products and present product knowledge in a compelling and informative manner
Contacting builders, developers, property managers and commercial businesses to introduce our services
Building relationships with new and existing customers
Measure and calculate floor areas and prepare accurate quotes
Calculate margins, negotiate confidently, and close the sale
Maintain showroom presentation and help run the store as required
What we're looking for
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer groups
Excellent product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn and retain technical information about flooring products
Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of achieving sales targets
Physical capability to handle and demonstrate flooring samples
Confidence with numbers — quoting, measuring and margins
Availability full-time, including occasional Saturdays
Current driver's licence (desirable)
