Service Technician

You will play a critical role in ensuring building systems and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime while providing excellent service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair building systems and equipment
Respond to service requests within set timeframes and quality standards
Complete preventative maintenance and urgent repair work
Provide detailed service reports, including materials used and time spent
Keep the service desk informed of job progress, issues, and escalations
Maintain strong communication with clients and tenants, ensuring a positive customer experience




Follow all safety protocols, building codes, and compliance requirements
Record job details accurately using job management software
Manage tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard
Work closely with the service team to prioritise jobs and meet performance targets
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience in commercial property maintenance, including areas such as:
Metal works / fabrication
Carpentry
Painting
Working at heights
Landscaping and minor concreting
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Sound knowledge of safety practices and regulatory compliance
Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Experience using job management or scheduling systems
A valid Australian driver's licence
