Senior HR Business Partner / Employee Relations Specialist (Contract)
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong Employee Relations expertise to join a large organisation undergoing significant transformation and workforce change initiatives.
This contract role will play a key part in supporting a critical employment and payroll remediation program following a recent business acquisition.
Working closely with project leaders and senior stakeholders, you will help navigate complex employment matters, drive compliance outcomes, and support organisational change initiatives.
About the Chance A major remediation project is currently underway to review and strengthen employment and payroll practices within an acquired business.
Key areas of focus include:
Reviewing historical employment arrangements and payroll practices.
Supporting compliance and remediation activities.
Contributing to policy consultation and review processes.
Partnering with project teams to manage workforce and employee relations matters.
Supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives.
Considerable work has already been completed, including:
Comprehensive Modern Award mapping.
Establishment of a dedicated project management function.




Engagement of specialist data analysts to review historical employment records.
Assessment of remediation requirements and corrective action plans.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Extensive HR Business Partnering experience.
Strong Employee Relations knowledge and practical application.
Experience supporting complex projects and business transformation initiatives.
Demonstrated capability in policy development, consultation, and review.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
The ability to operate confidently in a changing and evolving environment.
Knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, and workforce compliance obligations.
