Expression of Interest – Experienced Mobile Plant Operators
RTL Mining and Earthworks is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Mobile Plant Operators for upcoming work across our operations, including Loy Yang, Yallourn and other RTL and Thiess Group sites as required.
We are looking for reliable, safety-focused operators who can contribute positively to our teams and consistently deliver a high standard of work.
Plant Operator Opportunities
We are seeking operators with experience on one or more of the following:
Excavators from 2 to 200 tonnes, including GPS-equipped machines
Bulldozers, including LGP and conventional dozers up to D11
Graders, including CAT 12, 150, 14 and 16 series machines
Water trucks, including conventional and articulated 6x6 trucks
CAT 785 and CAT 777 rigid dump trucks
Padfoot and smooth-drum rollers
Other heavy mobile plant used in mining and civil operations
About You
Successful applicants will demonstrate:
Proven and verifiable experience operating relevant mobile plant
A strong commitment to health, safety and environmental requirements
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Reliability and the ability to work effectively within a team or independently
An appropriate level of fitness to perform the inherent requirements of the role




Commitment to completing plant pre-start inspections and following maintenance procedures
Mechanical awareness and care when operating company equipment
Ability to use mobile applications associated with mining operations, with training provided where required
Relevant licences, competencies and plant tickets
