Shed Person / Yard Hand - Entry Level Position
Our client is seeking
motivated team members
to join their busy Mackay Harbour recycling yard. If you're a mechanically minded forklift driver looking to learn current skills, we'd love to hear from you.
Duties
Provide exceptional customer service to customers entering the site
Load and unload trucks, skip bins and trailers using a counterbalance forklift
Buying, processing, sorting , and grading of non-ferrous materials
Manual handling and Forklift Operations
Assist with general yard duties
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
Follow all Work Health & Safety policies and procedures
You will require
Current LF Forklift Licence (counterbalance experience)
A strong commitment to workplace safety
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Excellent work ethic and commitment to quality
If you're mechanically minded, hold a current LF Forklift Licence and are eager to learn, comprehensive training can be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career operating heavy machinery.
