Estimator - Insurance - Melbourne South East
The chance has become available to take on a key role with a successful, well-established Insurance Building company. JP Flynn Builders performs repair building work on homes on behalf of many of Australia's largest insurance companies and is well-respected in the industry. The company has a proud history spanning in excess of 35 years and now has an available role for an Estimator to join the friendly team, based in a Melbourne south eastern suburbs territory.
Reporting to the Area Manager you will assess jobs to ascertain the cause of damage and develop scopes of work. You will write assessment reports, provide accurate costing information and liaise with Supervisors and Trades regularly to provide relevant information to assist with the smooth-running of all jobs.



You will also communicate proactively and clearly with insurance companies and insured parties to ensure high standards of service.
Ideally presenting with experience working in an Estimator's role in the insurance/maintenance/repairs industry, you will possess strong written and verbal communication skills. A capable multi-tasker, you will show attention to detail and a service and delivery focus. To be successful in the role you will require solid PC skills and valid vehicle licence.
