Bar Supervisor
Red Lion Hotel – Kilmore
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Supervise daily bar operations and lead the bar team during service
Ensure fast, friendly, and consistent customer service at all times
Train, support, and mentor bar staff, including new starters
Ensure Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is strictly followed
Open and close the bar in line with venue procedures when required
Manage staff breaks and workflow during busy periods
Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation behind the bar
Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and reduce wastage




Operate POS systems, manage cash handling, and complete end-of-shift reconciliations
Work closely with management and FOH supervisors to ensure smooth service
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing requirements
Lead by example with professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude
Skills & Requirements:
Previous experience in a bar supervisory or senior bartender role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Current RSA (RCG preferred if applicable)
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Calm under pressure in a rapid-paced pub environment
Strong attention to detail and customer-focused mindset
