The Chance
We're looking for someone who enjoys being out on the bakery floor as much as they do behind a computer.
You'll spend a significant portion of your day working directly with bakers, pastry chefs and dispatch staff, helping embed quality and food safety into everyday operations.
This hands-on role would suit an experienced QA Officer, Food Safety Officer or Technical Officer who is ready to take ownership of a site's quality, food safety and workplace compliance systems.
You'll be the person people turn to for guidance on HACCP, GMP, audits, food safety and quality systems.




Success in this role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across all areas of the bakery.
What You'll Be Doing
Maintaining and overseeing La Madre's Quality Assurance, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety systems
Maintaining quality documentation, specifications, records and corrective action systems to support compliance and continuous improvement
Leading quality assurance activities and working closely with production teams to maintain food safety and compliance standards
Preparing for, coordinating and participating in customer, HACCP certification and regulatory audits
Delivering practical food safety and hygiene training
Working with production teams to improve standards and solve problems
