We are looking for a proactive, solution-focused
Financial Accountant
to
Join Our Team in Blackburn, VIC
on a
Full-Time
basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Financial Reporting and Month-End Close processes with accuracy, including completing monthly balance sheet reconciliation, preparing monthly journals and ensuring accuracy of the general ledger
Assist in the preparation of monthly board reporting packs
Managing the workflow during the month to ensure a smooth and timely month-end process, while supporting process improvements as needed
Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding rebate arrangements while ensuring accuracy of various company registers including fixed assets, property, rebates and leases




Assist with lender reporting requirements and finance schedules
Liaise with external stakeholders including financial institutions, auditors, and taxation authorities to ensure regulatory compliance
Other ad hoc duties as required
Key Selection Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
CPA or CA qualification(preferred)
Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory compliance
Experience with ERP systems (Pronto Xi highly desirable) and advanced Excel skills
2-5 years' Finance experience
