Responsibilities




We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technician with expertise in one or more disciplines, including temperature, humidity, dimensional, mechanical, pressure, and torque instruments. This role involves performing accurate calibrations, inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Calibrate thermocouples, RTDs, infrared thermometers, temperature sources, and humidity sensors.
Calibrate and repair dimensional, mechanical, pressure, torque equipment.
Perform dimensional inspections using advanced techniques, including CMM.
Provide occasional onsite calibration services.
Analyse and correct systematic measurement errors and investigate out-of-tolerance conditions.
Maintain detailed calibration records in compliance with ISO/IEC ***** and internal quality systems.
Support NATA accreditation and audit readiness.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Metrology or related technical discipline.
3+ years' experience in temperature and/or humidity calibration preferred.
Knowledge of mechanical, physical, and dimensional test equipment.
Proficiency in modern calibration technologies and uncertainty analysis.
Robust analytical and communication skills.
Computer proficiency, especially with spreadsheets.
Ability to lift up to 20 kg.
Understanding of ISO/IEC ***** and NATA requirements.
Must be eligible to work in Australia.
