Ongoing, full-time role earning $100,894 to $114,476 per year, plus super.
What you will do
As analyst, you will use data to help improve the performance of Victoria's road safety camera network.
You will provide
clear
analysis and
trusted
reporting that supports road safety across the state.
You will:
extract, combine and analyse
complex
data using SQL and data warehouse tools
prepare
accurate
weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on road safety camera performance
build and improve
efficient
reporting processes using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and other Microsoft tools
maintain
reliable
monitoring systems and investigate data quality and technical issues
support road safety research, prepare
practical
advice and work with people across government and service providers.
About you
A tertiary qualification in science, computer science, engineering or information technology is preferred. Knowledge of statistics or mathematics is also desirable.
You should also have:
advanced
SQL skills and strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and data analysis tools
excellent
analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, solve problems and present clear findings
strong
attention to detail when managing data,



improving data quality and producing reports
effective
communication skills and the ability to work well with others while adapting to changing priorities.
