As a Specialist Teacher (Key Worker), you will support children aged 0–12 years and their families through evidence-based early childhood intervention and capacity-building supports.

About the Role
bestchance Child Family Care is currently seeking exceptional Key Workers (Specialist Teachers) (Level 2 or Level 3) with a positive and proactive approach to join our dedicated Children's Therapy team.
Reporting to the Site Lead, you will work as part of a transdisciplinary team of Allied Health professionals to provide high quality services, integrating the developmental and therapeutic needs of children, to increase children's meaningful participation in daily life.
This role will focus on building the capacity of children, families and communities through individual and group clinical work (both in clinic and in the community). have experience working with children in a support or therapeutic setting
Have demonstrated ability and knowledge to support children with developmental delay and disabilities aged 0-10 years, and their families
Have a proven ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from a broad range of social and cultural backgrounds
Have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to maintain positive, sensitive relationships with children, parents, staff and caregivers.
What You will be Doing
Providing individual and group-based early intervention supports
Coaching parents, carers and educators




Supporting children's participation in everyday activities and environments
Collaborating with allied health professionals and community partners
Delivering family-centred and strengths-based interventions
Contributing to meaningful outcomes for children and families
What We're Looking For
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education (Bachelors or Masters)
Experience in early childhood intervention or the NDIS sector is highly regarded but not essential
Current Working with children check
NDIS workers screening check (or willing to obtain)
Passionate about early intervention and family-centred practice
A strong communicator who enjoys working with families and educators
Comfortable working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Minimum 3 days of commitment required.
You must hold a valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
