About The Role
The Truck Driver/Jockey position is based on site at our Head Office and Factory units located in Bayswater North but will involve travel around the greater Melbourne area.
Primary Purpose of The Role
To assist in the delivery of aluminium widows and doors to customer premises.
To assist in the transportation of materials as required.
To support general operations as required.
Duties & Responsibilities
Load and unload window frames, doors, glazing and other materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, as required.
Secure the shipment to prevent shifting or damage during transport
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure protected and compliant driving
Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and minimize delays.




Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure they are in good working condition.
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil, brakes, tires, and lights.
Report any mechanical issues or needed repairs
Submit required documentation and reports to logistics or management as needed.
Interact professionally with clients, warehouse personnel, and dispatchers.
Address any issues or concerns related to deliveries and provide timely updates on delivery status.
To assist in the storage and stacking of materials in the warehouse
Must be prepared to assist with general duties in the factory when not undertaking transport duties.
Essential Skills & Knowledge and Experience Required
Driver's licence (essential for driver positions)
Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
Ability to plan routes and use technology.
Good communication skills (especially spoken).
