About therole:
Salary Range:$94K to $123K plus super
Status:Permanent full-time
As anEmbryologist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping each patient's fertilityjourney, delivering exceptional Embryology and Andrology services that directlyinfluence clinical outcomes and patient experience.

The rolerequires an Embryologist who is confident working within a high-throughputclinical laboratory and who brings broad technical experience across routineand specialised assisted reproductive technologies.
Working closelywith both the Laboratory Supervisor and Team Leader, you will contribute to aculture of excellence while supporting best-practice clinical standards.
Under guidancefrom the Laboratory Supervisor and Team Leader, your responsibilities include:
Delivering consistently high standards of patientcare and service
Performing the full range of clinical embryologyand andrology procedures, including oocyte retrieval support, conventionalIVF, ICSI, embryo assessment and culture, cryopreservation, embryotransfer and semen preparation
Managing competing clinical priorities safely andefficiently within a high-throughput laboratory environment
Contributing to the review, development andcontinuous improvement of laboratory procedures and standard operatingprocedures
Supporting laboratory training, workflowimprovement and the implementation of current technologies and informationsystems
Sharing knowledge of specialised ART procedures,including in vitro maturation and advanced reproductive tissuecryopreservationholding rigorous quality, compliance, andperformance standards
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams tosupport the Monash IVF Group mission
Are you theideal candidate?
You are a highly skilled and detail-oriented Embryologist who takes pride indelivering excellence.
You understand the significance of your role insupporting patients through deeply personal journeys and bring both technicalexpertise and genuine care to your work.
Ideally, youwill bring:
A degree in Biological Science, Health Science, isrequired.
Candidates who hold a Master's degree will be viewed favourably.
Minimum 2 years' experience in IVF embryology
Strong knowledge of ART legislation, RTAC Code ofPractice, and clinical protocols
Demonstrated expertise across clinical embryologyand andrology services, including oocyte handling, conventional IVF, ICSI,embryo assessment and culture, embryo cryopreservation, embryo transfer,semen analysis and sperm preparation
Experience in specialised assisted reproductivetechnologies, includingin vitro maturation, reproductive tissuecryopreservation or embryo biopsy, viewed favourably
Experience working effectively within a complex,high-volume laboratory while maintaining accuracy, traceability andpatient safety
Experience writing, reviewing and improvinglaboratory standard operating procedures
Experience contributing to laboratory qualityimprovement, workflow redesign,
validation activities or theimplementation of laboratory information systems
Experience supervising, training or supportinglaboratory staff
Strong knowledge of ART regulation and clinicallaboratory protocols, with the ability to rapidly develop workingknowledge of the RTAC Code of Practice and relevant Australianrequirements
Exceptional pipetting and fine motor skills
A strong focus on patient outcomes, with ameticulous attention to detail
Highly developed communication and interpersonalskills
Advanced organisational and time managementcapabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities
