Perks of the Job
Own technical delivery and outcomes, not just a ticket queue
Be one of the senior technical voices in a growing, ambitious team
Influence product improvements based on real factory feedback
Hybrid flexibility after probation (office near Geelong + some WFH)
Novated leasing program for vehicles
Regular social events, from Friday knock-off drinks to team lunches
Grow with a company scaling fast across Australia, NZ, and beyond
So, What's It All About?
We're looking for a hands‐on Technical Support Specialist to handle complex support,
coordinate go‐lives, and grow into technical deployments across our customer base.
This role sits at the intersection of software and manufacturing, where precision, reliability, and practical thinking matter, and when a customer is stuck, their production line can be too.
Day to day, you'll be the senior voice on the support queue, helping to triage issues, judging what matters most across competing demands, and resolving the hard problems that others upscale.
Alongside that, you'll onboard new customers to production, keep everyone informed on where their go‐live stands, and over time take on hands‐on CNC integration.
This isn't just responding to tickets.
You'll own technical outcomes and help shape how we deliver them.
You Will:
Act as the senior escalation point for complex software, system, and configuration issues
Assist in triaging and prioritising a live support queue, weighing competing demands to resolve the highest‐impact issues first
Provide expert remote support via phone, email, and remote access tools
Coordinate go‐live readiness for new customers and clearly relay project status to clients, onboarding teams, and management
Grow into hands‐on CNC integration, configuring and connecting Cabinetry.Online with machines and factory systems
Diagnose and resolve software, system, and machine‐communication issues
Document technical procedures and maintain transparent, reliable support recordsIdentify recurring issues and drive improvements to installation and support standards
Mentor and guide junior technicians, sharing knowledge and lifting the team
Contribute to building scalable technical processes as the company grows
The Skills & Experience You'll Need:
5+ years experience in a technical support, systems, or manufacturing‐tech role
Strong communication skills, clear, confident, and calm when explaining technical concepts to customers, teams, and management
Strong understanding of Windows environments, networking, and system configuration
Proven ability to triage, prioritise, and resolve complex issues independently
Excellent documentation habits and a discipline for following processes precisely
Confidence owning outcomes and improving the way things are done
What We'd Love to See (but not a deal‐breaker):
Experience in cabinet manufacturing or woodworking machinery
Familiarity with CAD/CAM or production software
Experience mentoring within a technical team
Exposure to field service or technical deployment work
But Most Importantly...
You're technically sharp, practical, and calm under pressure, and above all an excellent communicator.
Much of this role is keeping customers, teammates, and managers clearly informed, whether you're walking a non‐technical customer through a fix or relaying where a go‐live stands.
You enjoy solving real‐world problems and taking ownership of the outcome.
Requirements
Provisional or Full Australian Driver's Licence
Willingness to travel to customer sites on occasion (typically only a few times a year)
Full Australian work rights
