The Opportunity
You will deliver an exceptional dining experience for residents, overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations — including menu planning, food quality, staff leadership, hygiene standards and budgeting. Your regular working hours will be between 9:00 and 17:00, providing consistency and balance in your day.
Your leadership will ensure our residents enjoy nutritious, beautifully prepared meals in a warm, welcoming and wellmanaged environment.
Your responsibilities:
Leading and mentoring Cooks and Kitchen Assistants
Managing rosters, budgets and daily kitchen operations
Overseeing menu reviews and nutritional standards
Maintaining excellent hygiene, safety and compliance
Creating a positive, respectful and collaborative team culture
Who We are Looking For:
Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery
Experience in Aged Care or similar setting (ideal)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to problemsolve and maintain high quality standards
Warm, professional manner and genuine respect for older people
Possesses strong communication skills in Chinese and or Vietnamese
Understanding of Traditional Asian Meals - Ability to plan and prepare authentic traditional Asian dishes that meet cultural expectations, dietary needs and agedcare nutrition standards
