Plantex Nursery is a wholesale Nursery specialising in potted colour and flowering perennials.
We are looking for a reliable and physically fit MR Driver to join us for ongoing part-time work, 3 days per week. Based in Clyde, you'll be delivering our stock to customers across inner and outer Melbourne.
About the Role:
Ongoing part-time position (3 days a week)
MR truck driving around Metro and outer suburban Melbourne
Loading/Unloading plants and nursery stock onto and from Truck
Customer facing role with plenty of interaction
Maintain delivery schedules and liaise with dispatch/office staff
Start and finish in Clyde
Wages covered by Nursery Award
Key qualities that we are looking for:
MR truck license (HC License welcome)
Physically fit and able to handle manual labour, consent to a medical if required
Previous driving experience in a transport/logistics setting
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently – quickly and efficiently
Ability to provide a VicRoads Demerit Point Report
General plant knowledge is welcomed (but not essential)
