As a Warehouse Assistant at Forty Winks, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our warehouse and retail stores. This part-time position with flexibility of days and hours is based in Knoxfield, Victoria and involves a range of warehouse duties including office administration, retail store support and customer service to ensure the smooth delivery of products to our customers.
What you'll be doing
Receive, unload, and put away incoming stock deliveries
Pick and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time
Maintain stock levels and assist with regular stock takes
Warehouse office administration relating to incoming and outgoing stock, customer delivery communication, product service issues and retail store support
Operate warehouse equipment (walkie stacker forklift and vertical lift EWP) safely and effectively
Assist with general housekeeping and warehouse organisation
Provide reliable and efficient support to the retail stores, including transferring of stock and retail store floor stock display rotations
Limited number of small customer deliveries required using Forty Winks van
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
Computer skills and office administration experience
Forklift licence welcome but not mandatory (or willingness to obtain one)
Current Australian Drivers Licence required for internal store and customer deliveries




Must hold as a minimum current Class C (car) Australian driver's licence
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Professional and respectful manner when dealing with all stakeholders
Physical fitness to perform manual handling duties
Must have Australian work rights and be legally entitled to work in Australia
