The opportunity Our Raymond Terrace Parks team are seeking an experienced and passionate Trades Gardener to join their team on a permanent basis. This exciting role provides vital support to the Parks Team Leader while actively motivating and mentoring a small team of Assistant Trades Gardeners and an Apprentice throughout their rotation. Although horticulture underpins everything we do, this team has a focus on landscaping and gardening due to the location around our town centres. We are looking for someone whose diverse skillset brings a deep understanding of these areas, ensuring our high-visibility community spaces remain beautifully presented. Bringing valuable industry experience with you, you will showcase your skillsets in Horticulture, as you undertake on diverse maintenance and minor construction projects across our facilities. Your technical knowledge will also be utilised as you provide expert advice and insights regarding our parks and community infrastructure. This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 38 hours / week Tuesday – Friday. Base Salary Range: $71,361 to $80,994 pa based on 38 hours / week + 12% superannuation + retention allowance + adverse work allowance. Total Remuneration Package Range: $83,853 to $94,642 pa. Here's what we're looking for:
Trade certificate in Horticulture or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in Trades level horticulture activities including maintenance of sports and foreshores surfaces, reserves, trees, playgrounds, garden beds,



and landscaped areas
Proven ability to operate and maintain horticulture machinery and plant
