CPM Engineering is a well-established engineering and fabrication business based in Gympie, now part of The Davey Group, a diversified Queensland manufacturing, fabrication, and construction group. We are looking for motivated First Year Boilermaker Apprentices to start their trade career with us.
The Role
As a First-Year Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople in our workshop while completing your Boilermaker trade qualification.
Learn fabrication and welding fundamentals under supervision
Assist qualified tradespeople with day-to-day tasks
Attend TAFE or your registered training organisation as required
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
Build practical skills across the trade over the course of your apprenticeship
What We're Looking For
A genuine interest in a trade career as a Boilermaker
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn




Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
A current driver's licence
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
No prior trade experience required - just a good attitude and willingness to learn
