Nuleaf Tree Services has been delivering professional arboricultural services across Victoria for almost 30 years. As our consultancy division continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Consultant Arborist to join our team.
This is an opportunity to become part of a well established business that is investing heavily in its consulting services. You'll have the flexibility to work from home (report writing days) while being supported by an experienced operations team, modern technology and a respected field arboriculture business. Please note the job depot is located in Current Gisborne, which is approx 60 mins from CBD Melbourne.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys producing high quality technical work while also building long term relationships with clients.
About the Role
Preliminary arboricultural reports (PAR)
Arboricultural Impact Assessments (AIA)
Tree Protection Plans (TPP) and Tree Protection Specifications (TPS)
Tree Risk Assessments
Project Arborist inspections and supervision tasks
Development planning advice
Client and stakeholder liaison
Site inspections throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria
About You
AQF Level 5 Diploma in Arboriculture (or higher)
A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Consultant Arborist
Strong understanding of Australian Standards (AS**** and AS****)
Knowledge of Victorian planning requirements relating to trees (desirable)
Exceptional report writing skills,



and can use Excel, Word and PDF Editor
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Current Victorian Driver's Licence
TRAQ, QTRA or similar risk assessment qualifications (desirable)
Experience using GIS, Nearmap or CAD software (desirable)
Strong tree identification knowledge
