We are looking for a motivated and reliable Stores Person / General Hand / Technical Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting our workshop, warehouse, and technical staff.
About the Role
Beginning as a Stores Person / General Hand / Technical Assistant, with the opportunity to further your career with a Fitting and Mechanical Trade qualification, which will be discussed with the right candidate.
Initially as a general hand, this is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and being part of a small, collaborative team. You will assist with stores operations, workshop support, and basic technical tasks relating to specialised equipment and components.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, check,



and store incoming parts and equipment
Pick and pack orders for dispatch
Maintain organised stores and inventory areas
Assist technicians with workshop tasks
Assist with stock control and stock takes
General workshop and yard duties
Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times
About You
Good mechanical aptitude
Reliable, practical, and willing to learn
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with hands-on work
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience in stores, warehouse, or workshop environments
