Dental Assistant
to join our team on a
full-time basis
at our Aspendale Gardens practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career in dentistry to develop practical skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive clinical environment. As a trainee Dental Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting our dental practitioners and ensuring our patients receive high-quality care in a welcoming and professional setting.
Key responsibilities
Assisting dental practitioners during patient examinations and treatment procedures
Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments according to strict infection control protocols
Recording patient information accurately and maintaining detailed clinical notes
Providing chairside support, including passing instruments and managing suction during procedures.
Supporting the dental team with sterilisation, stock management and general practice administration
Ensuring compliance with dental practice standards and health and safety regulations.
What we're looking for
Desire to complete a
Dental Assistant qualification
or equivalent certification recognised in Victoria
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise clinical protocols
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour with patients and team members
Ability to work efficiently and reliably in a fast-paced clinical environment




Good organisational skills and the capacity to multitask effectively
Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality
Basic computer literacy and ability to learn dental practice management software
A genuine passion for dentistry and a desire to deliver excellent patient care
