About the role
Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking two motivated individuals to join us in the position of Hospital Cleaner at Healesville Hospital (Healesville, Victoria) on permanent, Part-Time basis. Located 1 hour 20 minutes from Melbourne's CBD, Healesville hospital is a small rural public hospital servicing the local Yarra community. Working within a small, close-knit team, the incumbents will provide essential cleaning services across the site.
Shifts
The choice of two shifts is available, with flexibility and additional hours available for the right person.
Sunday 10am to 5:30pm and Monday, 10am to 4:30pm
Monday to Friday - Evening shift, starting from 5:30pm-10pm
Key Responsibilities
Perform theatre cleaning to a high standard to ensure the continued hygienic use and safety of the theatre
Safe handling of chemical and/or hazardous substances in the performance of cleaning duties
Decontamination of surfaces after the initial clinical waste spillage has been removed by clinical staff
Identifying and recording any problems relating to cleaning services and/or safety

About you
Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
A strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to sterilisation and hygiene practice is required to be successful in this role
Flexibility to work either evening shift, weekends and across public holidays as required
Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
Current influenza vaccination, or ability to obtain, is essential
