Clinical Lead GP Epping – Urgent Care Centres (Victoria)
Are you a VR GP with experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care and a passion for clinical leadership?
We are seeking experienced and motivated Clinical Lead GPs at our Epping UCC to provide visible, on-site leadership within our modern Urgent Care Centres across Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to mentor clinicians, support high-quality patient care, and help shape the future of urgent care delivery.
Working closely with the UCC State Clinical Lead and State Clinical Director (SCD), you will play a key role in strengthening clinical governance, supporting the medical workforce, and maintaining operational excellence at a local level.
About the Role
As a Clinical Lead GP at Epping, you will:
Provide visible, site-based clinical leadership within the Urgent Care Centre
Support and mentor GPs, nurses, and administrative staff
Act as the first point of contact for clinical guidance and complex presentations
Promote clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
Support workforce stability and foster a positive clinical culture
Assist in maintaining consistent operational performance across the site
Collaborate closely with the State Clinical Lead and State Clinical Director

We are currently recruiting Clinical Lead GPs across the other Victorian locations:
Epping + Forest Hill, Melton, Moonee Ponds, Narre Warren, Pakenham, and Werribee
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Vocational Registration (VR) with unrestricted AHPRA registration
Current ALS certification
Minimum 2 years' post-fellowship experience, ideally within Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
The ability to balance clinical and operational priorities in a rapid-paced environment
A passion for supporting teams and delivering outstanding patient care
This role is ideal for a GP who enjoys mentoring colleagues, shaping clinical culture, and making a meaningful impact within a supportive and agile Urgent Care environment.
