Junior IT Field Technician | Future Engineers Academy

This isn't a role where you'll spend every day sitting behind a desk answering helpdesk tickets.
You'll be out in the field alongside experienced engineers, visiting businesses across Melbourne, installing technology, solving real IT problems and learning directly from people who've spent years in the industry.

What You'll Experience
No two days are the same.
One morning you might be installing a new network for a customer. After lunch you could be deploying Microsoft 365, replacing a server, setting up a new office, installing business phone systems or helping a client get back online.
Working alongside our experienced engineering team, you'll gain hands‐on experience with:
Travelling to customer sites across Melbourne providing on‐site IT support
Deploying, configuring and supporting the full Sophos Cyber Security ecosystem
Building, configuring and deploying desktops, laptops and mobile devices
Site installations, office fit‐outs and technology rollouts
Microsoft 365 administration and cloud solutions
Networking, switches, Wi‐Fi and business internet solutions




Business voice and communications systems
Onboarding new business customers
Working directly with customers while learning from experienced engineers

A current Australian Driver Licence
