advising and representing clients in estate disputes and Testators Family Maintenance claims;
preparing correspondence, court documents, affidavits, briefs to counsel and mediation materials;
liaising with clients, counsel, other solicitors, experts and third parties;
conducting negotiations and participating in mediations and settlement discussions;
acting in residential and commercial conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases and property transfers;
advising on property-related agreements, transactions and disputes;
managing matter progression, deadlines, client expectations and costs;

About you
You will have:
at least two years' post-admission experience as a lawyer;
admission to practise in an Australian jurisdiction and a current Victorian practising certificate, or eligibility to obtain one;
experience in one or more of wills and estates, estate litigation, conveyancing or property law;
strong legal research, analytical and drafting skills;
careful attention to detail;
the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients and other professionals;
the capacity to manage multiple matters, deadlines and competing priorities;
sound professional judgment and a practical approach to resolving legal issues;
a strong commitment to client service, professional integrity and ethical practice; and
the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Experience across every area of the role is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates with solid legal fundamentals who are capable of extending their experience across these complementary practice areas.
What we offer
The successful candidate will receive:
varied and substantive legal work;
direct client contact and responsibility for matters;
