Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teachers to join the Secondary Team at Mernda Hills Christian College. We are recruiting for multiple full time teaching positions commencing in January ****. Opportunities are available:
Secondary Teacher: Science + VCE Health & Human Development;
Secondary Teacher: Mathematics + Design & Technology;
Secondary Teacher: Health & Physical Education + Humanities
The subjects listed above may be combined or altered in different allocations for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:
Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes
Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students
Have experience and ability to work independently and as a leader within a team, developing, establishing, implementing, and monitoring learning and curriculum.
Have experience and ability to provide mentoring and guidance to peers.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and prior experience in a similar leadership role.
Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals
Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system
Can support and actively promote, and not undermine,
the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the College's Christian-based ethos
Can plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid VIT Registration and relevant teaching experience
Demonstrated leadership abilities and prior experience in a similar leadership role.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective organisational and project management capabilities.

These positions are subject to maintaining registration with VIT
The salary range is $******k based on years of experience.
