Role Type: Part-Time, Permanent 0.8 FTE, 4 days per week, 30.4 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Remuneration: Starting from $84,****** + 12% super, depending on qualification and teaching experience

Diploma of Nursing Teacher
to join our Health and Community Centre of Excellence (HACCOE) team at Bendigo City Campus to teach prospective nurses and inspire the next generation!
You will be working in ultra-modern facilities, equipped with simulated labs and specialist equipment to train future healthcare professionals. Our staff bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to educate and help our students grow.

About The Role
As a
Diploma of Nursing Teacher
, you will play a key role in preparing the next generation of nurses for rewarding careers in healthcare. Working within our Health and Community Centre of Excellence, you will deliver engaging, student-centred learning experiences that combine nursing theory with hands‐on practical skill development.
Using a blended learning approach,



you will guide students through pre‐class theoretical content before bringing learning to life in the classroom and simulation environments. You'll demonstrate and assess essential clinical skills, facilitate meaningful discussions, and help students build the confidence, knowledge and professional behaviours required for contemporary nursing practice.
Beyond the classroom, you will contribute to the design and continuous improvement of learning materials, assessments and teaching resources, ensuring training remains relevant, industry‐aligned and engaging. Working collaboratively with Program Leads and fellow educators, you'll support positive student outcomes and help shape high‐quality nursing education within one of Victoria's leading TAFE providers.

Qualifications
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willing to enrol
Registered Nurse
AHPRA registration
Bachelor's Degree Nursing
Post Grad in Nursing Specialty (desirable)
Experience and Knowledge
Experience in Diploma of Nursing education preferable
Experience working in primary health or aged care nursing practice or acute medical nursing practice preferable
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel etc
Has an understanding of cultural sensitivity and respects and values difference
Is able to identify language, literacy and numeracy issues
Can adapt communication style to suit audience and context
Ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders
Has an understanding of the concepts and practices underpinning digital and blended learning and applies as a supplement to the learning program




Ability to use digital learning for administrative functions, to communicate, collaborate and for presentations
Provision (and maintenance) of current driver's license where relevant
