The successful candidate with an RN Div 1 ideally with immuniser endorsement and a sound understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation. In addition, proven experience in outbreak management, surveillance and clinical risk management are essential as are outstanding interpersonal skills and proven leadership capability and well developed interpersonal and time management skills.
Aged care experience is highly regarded but not essential - what matters most is your clinical expertise in infection control and your ability to lead change across a complex organisation.
If you are looking for a dynamic opportunity to take on a genuinely strategic IPC leadership role with real influence at all levels, within an organisation committed to innovation and excellence in care this may be the role you have been looking for.
