Fire Alarm Technician | $110K–$120K + Vehicle | Melbourne
Multiphase — 29 years strong in Melbourne's fire protection industry — is looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Technician who knows fire systems inside and out. This isn't a training role. You'll be trusted with complex commissioning, fault-finding, and compliance work across some of Melbourne's most iconic addresses — from heritage landmarks like Scots Church to major commercial towers like Freshwater Place and critical infrastructure sites like Victoria Ports. Real variety, real responsibility, no two days the same.
What You'll Be Doing
Servicing and maintaining fire alarm panels and Emergency Warning Systems across Ampac, Notifier, Simplex and Pertronic
Programming, commissioning and fault-finding on complex fire systems
System interrogation and detailed defect reporting
Emergency and exit lighting testing and installation
Rotating after-hours on-call roster
All work carried out in accordance with AS *********
What You'll Bring
Minimum 5 years dedicated fire alarm experience — you must be able to hit the ground running
Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
Open Cabling (Communications) Licence
Current Victorian Driver's Licence
Full Australian working rights required — no visa sponsorship available
Strong fault-finding and system interrogation skills across multiple panel brands
Solid knowledge of AS ********* and relevant Australian Standards
High attention to detail, strong customer focus, and professional presentation
Working with Children Check
Current Police Check (renewed annually)
