Job Summary:
Reporting to the Theatre Management Team, you will play a critical role in providing anaesthesia care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This position requires a high level of expertise in anaesthetic techniques, patient monitoring, and cooperative care within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
The
CNS level
includes advanced clinical knowledge, leadership, and support to junior staff.
Prepare patients for anaesthesia, including physical assessments and reviewing medical histories.
Provide post-anaesthesia care, including pain management and monitoring their recovery.
Assist in the development and implementation of anaesthetic care plans.
Ensure all equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained for anaesthesia procedures.
Educate patients and their families about anaesthesia procedures and post-operative care.




Demonstrable knowledge and application of policies and procedures within the anaesthetic domain.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Commitment to continually engage in Quality Improvement in line with accreditation requirements
Mandatory Criteria:
Registered Nurse with current Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia registration with AHPRA.
5 years' experience in Anaesthetics with exceptional clinical skills
Anaesthetic Qualification.
Excellent verbal and written communication with computer literacy.
