Job Description
Amazing Grace Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team in delivering our Government Approved Kindergarten Program at either our Railway Estate or North Ward campus.
As our Kindergarten Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a high-quality educational program guided by the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0). You will foster children's learning through intentional teaching, inquiry, play-based experiences and meaningful relationships, supporting every child to develop the knowledge, confidence and skills needed for a successful transition to school., As our Kindergarten Teacher you will:
As our Kindergarten Teacher you will:
Plan, implement and evaluate a high-quality Government Approved Kindergarten Program aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0).
Deliver intentional teaching experiences that extend children's learning, wellbeing and development.
Support children's successful transition to school through engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
Observe, document and assess children's learning using reflective practice to inform future planning.
Create stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments that encourage exploration, creativity and independence.
Build strong partnerships with families to support children's learning and development.
Mentor and support educators within the Kindergarten program.
Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and continuous improvement processes.
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
Promote children's safety, wellbeing,



inclusion and sense of belonging at all times.
About the Candidate
Positions available on a full-time & part-time with ongoing professional development, career progression opportunities, and the chance to be part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional outcomes for children and families., The successful applicant will have:
An ACECQA-approved Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration (or eligibility).
A current Blue Card.
Strong knowledge and experience implementing the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0).
Experience planning and delivering a funded Kindergarten program.
Excellent curriculum planning, assessment and documentation skills.
Robust leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
A commitment to child-led, play based learning and continuous improvement.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
Completion of the Australian Government National Child Safety Training (Geccko), or willingness to complete prior to commencement.
Graduate Early Childhood Teachers with a genuine passion for Kindergarten education are encouraged to apply.
