Evisory is seeking a confident, friendly and professional promotional staff member to represent our business at the Fine Food Expo at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Evisory is a technology-focused accounting and advisory firm specialising in the hospitality industry. We work with restaurants, cafés, pubs, clubs, accommodation providers and other hospitality businesses to improve their financial reporting, cash flow and business performance.
This is a short-term position suited to someone who enjoys meeting new people, starting conversations and creating a positive first impression.
About the role
You will represent Evisory at our exhibition stand and help introduce our accounting, bookkeeping and business advisory services to hospitality business owners and industry professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming visitors to the Evisory exhibition stand
Starting friendly and professional conversations with attendees
Explaining Evisory's services using the information and training provided
Identifying business owners who may benefit from speaking with our team
Collecting accurate contact details from interested attendees
Distributing promotional materials
Encouraging attendees to book a consultation or follow-up discussion
Keeping the exhibition stand tidy, organised and presentable
Providing basic feedback about common questions and attendee interest
Representing the Evisory brand professionally throughout the event
You will not be expected to provide accounting, taxation or financial advice. Relevant service information, talking points and training will be provided before the event.
About you
We are looking for someone who is:




Confident approaching and speaking with new people
Friendly, energetic and professionally presented
Comfortable working in a busy exhibition environment
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
A clear and effective communicator
Able to quickly understand and communicate key service information
Comfortable collecting lead details using a tablet or digital form
Available for the full agreed event period
Previous experience in promotions, exhibitions, hospitality, sales, customer service, events or brand representation will be highly regarded.
Knowledge of the hospitality industry or professional services would be beneficial but is not essential.

Training:
A paid briefing and training session will be provided before the event
Dress requirements:
Professional business attire or Evisory-branded clothing as directed
The successful applicant must be available for the full event period, including any required setup, briefing or pack-down times.
